The Relationship between the School Administrators and Achievement Motivation under Phrae Provincial Vocational Education Office

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the school administration; 2) to study the achievement motivation, and 3) to study the relationship between the school administration and the achievement motivation under Phrae Provincial Vocational Education Office. It was quantitative research. The sample group consisted of 226 people under Phrae Provincial Vocational Education Office, using stratified random sampling method. The research instrument was a questionnaire about the school administrators and the achievement motivation under Phrae Provincial Vocational Education Office. Data analyses were processed by these statistical tools: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.
The findings were: 1) the level of the school administration overall was at a high. (mean = 4.10, standard deviation = 0.60), 2) the level of the achievement motivation, overall was at the high (mean = 4.20, standard deviation = 0.51). Also, 3) the school administration and the achievement motivation under Phrae Provincial Vocational Education Office had a statistically significant positive correlation with r=.849, and p<.001.
