This research’s purposes were to study: 1) the level of competencies of the school administrators, 2) the level of the internal supervision process at the schools, and 3) the competencies of the school administrators affecting the internal supervision process at the schools under the Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. This study employed quantitative research methodology. The research sample consisted of 306 school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire, with a reliability of 0.98. The data analysis used statistical methods including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple linear regression analysis.
The research findings indicated that 1)overall, the competency of the school administrators is rated at the highest level, with a mean score of 4.61. 2) The internal supervision process within schools was also rated at the highest level, with a mean score of 4.64. 3) School administrators’competencies in developing staff capabilities, personal development, communication and motivation, and providing good service, significantly impacted the internal supervision process within schools, with overall statistical significance at the .05 level. The regression analysis equations were below.
