The Relationship between Desirable Characteristics of School Administrators and Satisfaction with Teacher Performance at the Disability Specialized School, Group 6 under the Office of Special Education Administration

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the desirable characteristics of school administrators; 2) to study the satisfaction with teacher performance; and 3) to study the relationship between their desirable characteristics and the satisfaction with teacher performance at the Disability Specialized School, Group 6 under the office of Special Education Administration. It was quantitative research. The sample group consisted of 182 teachers at the Disability Specialized School, Group 6 under the Office of Special Education Administration. The research instrument was a questionnaire about the desirable characteristics of school administrators and the satisfaction with teacher performance. Data analyses were processed by these statistical tools: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation analysis.
The findings were: 1) the level of the desirable characteristics of school administrators, overall was at the highest. 2) The level of the satisfaction with teacher performance as a whole was at the high. Also, 3) the relationship between the desirable characteristics of the school administrators and satisfaction with the teacher performance at the Disability Specialized School, Group 6 under the Office of Special Education Administration had a statistically significant positive correlation with r=.677, and p<.001
