Policy Proposals for Early Childhood Academic Administration in Phichai District Uttaradit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

The objectives of this research article were: 1. to assess the needs and necessity of academic administration at the early childhood level, and 2. to study strategic proposals for early childhood academic administration in Phichai District. Uttaradit Clinical Education Area Office, Area 1. This study is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. Qualitative research was employed. A sample consisted of 43 administrators, 86 early childhood teachers, a total of 129 people, through the observed in one group, pre-test and post-test, mostly focusing on research and surveys. The statistical tools were standard elements, essential requirements index and content.
The results of the research found that 1) the needs and necessity of academic administration at the early childhood level were arranged from highest to lowest: the supervision of teachers' work performance, measuring and evaluating children's development, early childhood curriculum development, media to support the organization of learning experiences, and the organization of learning experiences. 2) Policy proposals for academic administration at the early childhood level had 5 areas: development of the early childhood curriculum inviting the committee and the educational institutions to jointly analyze the results of educational management and jointly develop the early childhood curriculum with the vision; organizing learning experiences consistent with children's learning and hands-on experience ; media to support learning experiences executive support for the budget and provision of materials and equipment; measuring and evaluating children's development collecting measurement and evaluation data in accordance with each aspect of child development; supervision of teachers' work performance preparing an order to appoint a committee for supervising the performance of teachers.
