The Strategy to Promote Teacher Teamwork of Different Generations at Large Secondary Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office in Chiang Mai Province

Research aimed: to 1) study the current situation and desired state of the teacher teamwork of different generations at the large secondary schools teachers attached to under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Chiang Mai province 2) to develop strategies for promoting teamwork among these teachers and 3) to evaluate the strategies for the teamwork enhancement. This independent study was mixed methods research. A survey was administered to 234 administrators and teachers. A workshop was conducted with 11 administrators and teachers to develop strategies and evaluated through the quality assessment instrument. Data were analyzed through the use of mean, standard deviation, and index of necessity and consensus voting at the meeting.
The findings of this study showed 1) the current state of the teamwork was at a high level. The desired state of teamwork was also at a high level. The index value of necessity indicated that the greatest need was for increased teacher participation in teamwork. 2) The strategies for the teamwork enhancement included 1. promoting teacher involvement in establishing school targets and goals together. Strategy; 2. to develop a mindset for promoting teamwork. Also, 3) the evaluation of the strategies was high quality and was likely to be effective in enhancing teamwork among teachers of various age groups. The strategies were approved by consensus
