The People’s Attitude towards Community Meetings in Nong Khae, Saraburi Province

Abstract

          The research aimed to 1) study the level of the people’s attitude towards the community meetings in Nong Khae, Saraburi province, 2) to compare between the demographic factors and the people’s attitude towards the community meetings in Nong Khae, Saraburi province, and 3) to analyze the relationship between the political participation and the people’s attitude towards the community meetings in Nong Khae, Saraburi province. The study used quantitative research. A sample, from accidental sampling, consisted of 400 residents in Nong Khae, Saraburi province and the data were collected by questionnaire. The statistical techniques were percentage, mean, standard deviation, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson’s moment product correlation. The research found that: 1) the level of the people’s attitude towards the community meetings in Nong Khae, Saraburi province was at the highest ( gif.latex?\dpi{80}&space;\overline{X}= 4.23, S.D.= .64); 2) the different genders had a statistical significance at 0.02; and 3) the political participation was statistically correlated to the people’s attitude towards the community meetings in Nong Khae, Saraburi province at 0.00 level of significance
