The Expectations of Studying in Music of High School Graduates in Muang District, Pathum Thani Province

The objectives of this research article were: 1) to study personal factors affecting the level of expectation to study in the music field of high school graduates in Mueang district, Pathum Thani province; and 2) to study the expectations of continuing education in the music field of high school graduates. The population consisted of 420 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis included percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
Results from the research showed the followings.
- Personal information: most of the respondents were male, totaling 222 people, accounting for 52.86 percent, pursuing a bachelor's degree. They wanted to continue their education, totaling 396 people, accounting for 94.29 percent, cumulative GPA. They had a cumulative GPA of 2.51 - 3.00, totaling 174 people, accounting for 41.43 percent. Their average monthly family incomes were not more than 15,000 baht, totaling 168 people, accounting for 40.00 percent. Music was their ability. Most of them had international musical talent, numbering 253 people, accounting for 60.24 percent.
- Expectation factor: with the 4Ps marketing strategy, it was found that the overall level was at an important level with a mean of 3.770 and a standard deviation of 1.033. Most respondents had opinions about marketing promotions at level 5, very important, accounting for hundreds. 36.0 each.
