Factors Affecting Academic Administration of Educational Institutions under the Office of Chiang Rai Education Service Area

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study: 1) the factors of the executives, teachers, budgets, parents and communities, 2) their academic administration at the schools in the office of the Chiang Rai Secondary Educational Service Area and 3) the factors of the executives, teachers, budgets, parents and communities, affecting the academic administration.  The samples consisted of 335 people. Data were analyzed by statistics, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.

           The research showed the results below.

1. The average factors affecting the academic administration in the affiliated educational institutions under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office in Chiang Rai province, namely, were the parent side with the mean = 4.40 and the standard deviation = .39; the executive side with the mean = 4.36 and the standard deviation = .24; the teacher side with the mean = 4.33 and the standard deviation = .33; and the budget with the mean = 4.32 and standard deviation = .34
2. Academic administration in educational institutions under the office of the Secondary Educational Service Area, Chiang Rai province, overall was at a high level with the mean = 4.22 and the standard deviation = .35
3. The factors of the executives, teachers, budgets, and parents and communities were able to predict academic administration of schools under the office of the Chiang Rai Secondary Educational Service Area at 74 percent. All factors were able to predict the academic administration with statistical significance at .05
