This academic article aims to study the important roles of the haze causes from the open burning. It was found that the cause of the haze problem was open burning, i.e. burning sugarcane. The main factor was that the burnt cane weighed heavier, resulting in a higher price than unburnt cane. It was convenient to manage and burn the sugarcane on agricultural land They were able to continue farming with the agricultural materials. It was the cause of the combustion. A guideline for solving the haze problem from the open burning in Tha-Chai subdistrict, Si-Satchanalai district, Sukhothai province is a control and supervision with various regulations, based on the laws and ordinances issued by the local government. The study results can be summarized as follows: supervision with various regulations, according to the laws and ordinances set by the local government. The ban on the burning was not effective. Because of the lack of seriousness, the various compromises of the leaders must be strictly controlled and supervised by the law so as not to cause damage or problems. Simultaneously, the open burning should decrease; then, the amount of the smog would reduce.
