Motivating Factors Affecting Job Performance of Personnel at Schools under Local Administrative Organization of Phayao Province

Abstract

          This research aimed to study: 1) the levels of the motivating factors; 2) the levels of job performance of personnel: and 3) motivating factors affecting job performance of personnel at the schools under Local Administrative Organization of Phayao Province. The sample size consisted of 179 persons at schools under Local Administrative Organization of Phayao province. The instruments were the questionnaires and the assessment ratio with five levels, including the motivating factors and job performance of personnel at the schools under Local Administrative Organization of Phayao Province. The statistical tools used in data analysis were percentage (%), mean (x), standard deviation (S.D.), and enter multiple regression method.

           The results showed that 1) the levels of the motivating factors, as a whole and an individual, were at high level mean = 4.15; 2) the levels of job performance of personnel, was at high level mean = 4.17; and 3) the motivating factors were: motivating factors (X₁) and scaffolding factors (X₂), and all factors were affecting job performance of personnel at the schools under Local Administrative Organization of Phayao province, in overall (Ytot). Its statistical significance was at .01 level. The correlation coefficient was equal to 0.464. Effectiveness in the prediction was 46.4 %, and the standard deviation of the prediction was 0.23.
