A Model of Dual Vocational Education Supervision in Uttaradit Province under the Office of Vocational Education Commission

This research aimed to study the needs and forms of dual vocational education supervision in Uttaradit Province under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. The population used in the research consisted of five directors, five deputy academic directors, and sixty-six academic supervisors, totally seventy six people. The target group included two directors, one deputy academic director, four people from the dual system, and two training supervisors, totally nine people. The research tools included questionnaires and interview forms. The statistical tools used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results showed that
- The need for the dual vocational education supervision in Uttaradit Province under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in all 4 areas, ordered from the most necessary to the least, were: evaluation, implementation, current problem conditions and needs, as well as planning.
- A model of the dual vocational education supervision in Uttaradit Province under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission consisted of the principles. The dual education management system came from an agreement between an educational institution and enterprise. For the purposes of this model, students had knowledge, skills, morals, ethics and desirable characteristics. Its operational method consisted of a current condition survey, problems and needs of educational supervision, planning, compliance, and evaluation. The conditions for the success consisted of policies, educational institutions, teachers, related personnel, enterprises, students and parents.
