Organizational Engagement Affecting the Performance Efficiency of Personnel at the Child Development Center in Wiang Sub-district Municipality,Chiang Khong District, Chiang Rai Province

This research was aimed to study: 1) organizational engagement of personnel at the Child Development Center in Wiang Sub-district Municipality; 2) operational performance of personnel at the Child Development Center in Wiang Subdistrict Municipality; and 3) organizational engagement affecting the operational performance of personnel at the Child Development Center in Wiang Sub-district Municipality. The sample group of 140 people in the research was personnel working at Child Development Centers in Wiang Subdistrict Municipality. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. The statistical measurements used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regressions by stepwise method.
The results of the research showed that 1) the organizational engagement of personnel at the Child Development Center in Wiang Sub-district Municipality, in overall, was at the highest level, followed by continuity and social norms; 2) operational performance of personnel in the Child Development Center in Wiang Sub-district Municipality, in overall, was at the highest level of the performance efficiency and task requirements was the highest average; and 3) organizational engagement in terms of social norms (X3) and continuity (X2) had a statistically significant effect on the operational performance of personnel at Wiang Sub-District Municipality Child Development Center at the 0.05 level, the relationship prediction was up to 81%.
