The Adaptation of SMEs entrepreneurs for Foreign Workers Employment during Covid-19 Pandemic: A Case Study of Service Sector in Pathumthani Province

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic of SMEs entrepreneurs on foreign worker employment in the service sector 2) to study guidelines for the adaptation of SMEs entrepreneurs on foreign workers employment in the service sector; and 3) to suggest guidelines for adapting after the COVID-19 pandemic to relevant agencies in Pathum Thani Province. Questionnaires and interviews were used as tools to collected data from a sample of SMEs entrepreneurs in the service sector in Pathum Thani Province. The sample was divided into a quantitative sample of 150 and a qualitative sample of 7 persons. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis: percentage, frequency, and standard deviation. This study found that 1) the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the entrepreneurs for foreign worker employment, at a moderate level with mean of 3.2, and 2) their adjustment for foreign worker employment during the COVID-19 pandemic at a high level with mean of 3.44
