Abstract

          This research aimed to study: 1) organizational culture of schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan, 2) academic administration at the schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan, and 3) organizational culture affecting academic administration at the schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan. The sample size of 285 people consisted of administrators and teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan. The instrument was the questionnaire. The assessment ratio with five levels included organizational culture and academic administration with the reliability is 0.939, 0.911 and 0.901 respectively. The statistics used in data analysis was percentage (%) mean (), standard deviation (S.D. and multiple regressions of Stepwise regression method.

            The results showed that 1) Organizational culture of school administrators and teachers under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan, as a whole and an individual, were at high level (mean 4.34 SD 0.19) 2) Academic administration of schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan, as a whole and an individual, were at high level (mean 4.07 SD 0.28) and 3) Organizational culture affecting academic administration of schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan were diversity of personnel (X10), empowerment (X2) and acceptance (X7). All factors have affected academic administration of schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nan in overall (Ytot). Its statistical significance was at .05 level. The correlation coefficient is equal to 0.448 Effectiveness in the prediction was 20.1 percent and the standard deviation of the prediction was 0.25. Which can be written as the following equation regression analysis.

Ytot  = 2.543 + 0.192 (X10) + 0.102 (X2) + 0.063 (X7)
