The Administrative Factors of Child Development Center: Affecting the Standard Operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center under the Local Administrative Organization in Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province

Abstract

     This research aimed to study 1) the administrative factors of Child Development Center, 2) the standard operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center, and 3) the administrative factors of Child Development Center affecting the standard operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center under the Local Administrative Organization in Mae Fah Luang district, Chiang Rai province. The sample size of 123 people consisted of administrators and childcare teachers at the Local Administrative Organization in Mae Fah Luang district, Chiang Rai province. The instrument used the questionnaire, including the level of the administrative factors of Child Development Center and the standard operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center with the reliability at 0.935, 0.966 and 0.899 respectively. The statistical tools used in data analysis were percentage (%), mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and multiple regression of Stepwise regression method.

           The results showed that 1) the administrative factors of Child Development Center, as a whole and an individual, were at high level ( 3.93 SD 0.56); 2) the standard operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center, as a whole and an individual, were at high level ( 4.11 SD 0.57); and 3) the administrative factors of Child Development Center affecting the standard operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center were personnel (M1), budget (M2) and methodology (M4) All factors affected the standard operation of the National Early Childhood Development Center under the Local Administrative Organization in Mae Fah Luang district, Chiang Rai province in overall ( ). Its statistical significance was at .05 level. The correlation coefficient was equal to 0.897. Effectiveness in the prediction was 80.5 percent; and the standard deviation of the prediction was 0.26.
