Abstract

     This research aimed to study the Bangkokians’ opinions towards the Elections of Bangkok Governor and Councilors in 2022. It was a quantitative research survey at Siam Poll Center, Faculty of Political Science, Siam University. There were 2,894 Bangkokians as a population sample through the multistage random sampling.  Also, by means of questionnaires the data were collected from people above the age of 18 years old. The statistical tools were means, percentages, and S.D.

           The results were found as follows

  1. The decision trend for the most popular candidate for Bangkok governor was Mr. Chatchat Sitthipan
  2. The political stream at the national level had an impact on voting candidates for Bangkok governor
  3. The samples decided to elect the candidates for Bangkok governor due to their policies
  4. The Bangkok councilors should not belong to any political parties
  5. The samples decided to elect the candidates for Bangkok councilors due to their policies, rather than other factors
  6. The election campaigners did not have influences on voting the candidates for Bangkok councilors
