The Practice of Probation Volunteers in the Role of Remediation and Rehabilitation of Offenders in the Community

Abstract

     The objective of this academic article was to study the practice of probation volunteers in remediation and rehabilitation of offenders. How was it established?  What was the process or procedure for assisting offenders under probation? What were the volunteers’ roles and benefits for the Department of Probation? Indeed, they were residing in the closest community of the offenders. Therefore, the probation volunteers are important persons to help offenders to live a normal life in society, and not go back to commit crimes.
