Abstract

     This academic article aims to present “An analysis of political participation in local government of people in politics and political administration, from a survey of the Office of the Election Commission (ECT) about the election of the Sub-District Administrative Organization (SAO) on November 28, 2021 under the topic "Ask the local people! The right to vote in the Sub-district Administrative Organization.” An example, “Will you go to the polls or not?” The survey found that 86% of the people were interested in the election: engaging with political participation at the high level. They wanted to changes: politics, society, and management in a better direction beneficial for those less fortunate.  They wanted to create an equal society in which the people, local leaders and politicians would participate in their roles and administration, decision making process, policy evaluations, and planning.  Also, they wanted their local government to solve problems, meet their needs, and operate its activities with transparent, equal, and fair manners.
