Quality of Life of Handicapped Person of Local Administrative Organizations in Nong Phok District Roi Et Province

Abstract

The research purposes were (1) to study the life quality level of handicapped person of Local Administrative Organizations in Nong Phok District , Roi Et Province; (2) to study the factors affecting the life quality of handicapped person of Local Administrative Organizations in Nong Phok District , Roi Et Province; and (3) to study the development guidelines on the life quality of handicapped person of Local Administrative Organizations in Nong Phok District, Roi Et Province. The population of the research was handicapped person of local government organizations in Nong Phok District, Roi Et Province: totaling 1,740 people, received a sample size of 325 persons and a total of 19 executives for in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed with the basic statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

           The research findings follow:

1. Quality of life of handicapped person of local administrative organizations in Nong Phok District generally was at a moderate level in all aspects. With consideration of all aspects, they were arranged in descending order: environment, psychological, relationship and body, respectively.
2. Factors affecting the quality of life of handicapped person of Local Administrative Organizations in Nong Phok District generally were at a moderate level in all aspects. With consideration of all aspect, they were arranged in descending order: competence, success, value and importance respectively.
3. Guidelines for improving the quality of life of disabled persons local administrative organizations in Nong Phok District are to expedite coordination with relevant agencies in the area, and to provide health therapy staff with trainings to meet their needs.
