Implementing the Prevention and Control of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Policy in the case of Entertainment Places on Khaosan Road

Abstract

          The research aimed: 1). to study the level of implementing the prevention and control of the Coronavirus disease 2019 policy in the case of entertainment places on Khaosan Road; 2). to examine causing factors for implementing the prevention and control of the Coronavirus disease 2019 policy in the case of entertainment places on Khaosan Road; and to develop suggestions for improving implementation of the prevention and control of the Coronavirus disease 2019 policy in the case of entertainment places on Khaosan Road.     This was a quantitative research. The unknown population was the customers of entertainment places on Khaosan Road. The researcher employed  400 sets of questionnaire as a tool to collect data. Descriptive statistics utilized in the study was frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation; inferential statistics was Pearson’s correlation coefficient analysis and multiple regression (Stepwise).

          The study found that the level of implementing the prevention and control of the coronavirus disease 2019 policy in the case of entertainment places on Khaosan Road was at a high level; and the factors of policy, customers, and contexts had positive effect. And They could jointly predict implementing the prevention and control of the coronavirus disease 2019 policy in the case of entertainment places on Khaosan Road.

          The suggestions of the research were as follows. The government should establish a rehabilitation of business impacted by the Coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, and inform the entrepreneurs of entertainment places about the implementation in the prevention and control of the Coronavirus disease 2019 policy in the case of entertainment places on Khaosan Road.
