Public Opinions towards Quality of Service Provided by Bangrakpattana Municipality, Bangbuathong District, Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

          The purposes of this research article were : 1) to study the public opinion towards quality of service provided by Bangrakphatthana Municipality, Bangbuathong District, Nonthaburi Province; and 2) to compare the difference of opinions on service quality of Bangrakphatthana Municipality, Bangbuathong District, Nonthaburi Province, classified by personal factors. The samples used in this study were 395 people. The instrument used for collecting data was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test (One-Way ANOVA); and LSD was used to test difference between pairs.

          The results of the study revealed that the public opinions towards quality of service provided by Bangrakphatthana Municipality was at a high level. In consideration of each aspect by aspect the highest was service trust; the lowest mean was the concreteness of the service.

          In comparison of difference of public opinions on service quality of Bangrakphatthana Municipality, Bangbuathong District, Nonthaburi Province, classified by personal factors, it was found that gender, age and education level had no different opinions but the occupation and monthly income had a statistically significant difference in opinions at the 0.05 level.
