Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objetive of this research were: (1) To study the effectiveness of teaching Buddhism in the moral teaching of the schools in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province (2) to study and compare the opinions on the effectiveness of the teaching of Buddhism in the moral teaching in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province By classified by personal factors (3) to study problems Obstacles and suggestions for improving the effectiveness of teaching Buddhism in the moral teaching of Hua Hin schools in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province In this study Is a mixed methods research between quantitative research and qualitative research by field study from secondary school students in secondary schools in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, totaling 323 people using questionnaires. (Questionnaire) is a tool for collecting data. The characteristics of the questionnaire were both closed and open ends. The researcher analyzed the data obtained. By searching for frequency (percentage), percentage (mean), standard deviation (SD), hypothesis testing by t-tes and F-test ) One-way analysis of variance and qualitative research By in-depth interviews with 12 key informants / data analysis by descriptive content analysis.

The findings of this research were as follows:

  1. The effectiveness of teaching Buddhism in the moral teachings of the schools in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, overall was at a high level. With an average of 3.80 when considered in each aspect, namely the use of teaching equipment In creating the atmosphere in the classroom And teaching aspect, it was found that the teaching effectiveness of Buddhism in the teaching of morality in schools in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province In every level.
  2. The results of the comparison of students' opinions on the development of teaching effectiveness of Buddhism in the moral teaching in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province By personal status, it was found that students with years of study and age had an opinion on the development of teaching effectiveness of Buddhism in the moral teaching in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The overall picture is not different. Therefore rejecting the hypothesis set.
  3. Problems, obstacles, and suggestions about the effectiveness of teaching Buddhism in the teaching of morality in schools in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province found that problems and obstacles areThere is no provision of media for learning outside Buddhism. Lack of media use that focuses on students searching for knowledge by themselves.
