Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the management of Buddhist way School of Tharuanittayanukul school, Tharua district, Ayutthaya province, 2) to compare the management of Buddhist way School of Tharuanittayanukul school, Tharua district, Ayutthaya province, 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions about the management of Buddhist way School of Tharuanittayanukul school, Tharua district, Ayutthaya province.

For the quantitative research is collected executives, deputy executives, teachers and students from the secondary school of grade 7 to 12 of Tharuanittayanukul secondary school, Tharua District, Ayutthaya Province for the data from the sampling group of 327 persons. This research is the mixed research method. The statistics was used through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation(S.D) one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) for testing the difference between the averages from three or more groups with LSD (Least Significant Different).and the qualitative research was to study the structure interview for studying the Management of Buddhist Way School of Tharuanittayanukul School, Tharua District, Ayutthaya Province for four aspects consist of (1) the management (2) the activity for basic way of life (3) the learning (4) the atmosphere and the public relation.

The findings of this research as following:

  1. The Buddhist Way School was the school that used the principle of Dhamma in Buddhism to apply for management and students development by focusing on development according to Trisikkha principle consists of the precept, concentration, and the wisdom. The student got the development through eating, being doing and listening and used the principle of Dhamma in Buddhism to apply for management and teaching and learning management by appling the Trisikkha principle to school and community and co-operate to develop the life skill like eating, being doing and listening etc. by the principle of management of Buddhist Way School in 4 aspects that consisted of (1) the management (2) the activity for basic way of life (3) the learning (4) the atmosphere and the public relation.
  2. The sampling group who answered the questionnaire for 327 people found that the major correspondents was the female for 186 persons or 56.9 percent, had the age below 20 years old for 245 persons or 74 .9 percent, and was the student for 282 persons or 86.2 percent, the level of the students in the secondary school for 222 persons or 67.9 percent. The average deviation was the basic activity at high level and the second was the management, and the atmosphere and human relation and the lowest level was the learning.
  3. The guideline to development for management of Buddhist way School of Tharuanittayanukul school, Tharua district, Ayutthaya province as follows:

(1) the management, should set up the important policy of educational institute to be practical, should have the committee meeting on Buddhist way to know the role and mission including to go for academic tour and participate the other activities about Buddhist way, should have the guidance to checking the findings, should work more efficiency, should support the train the staff more by focusing the understanding and practice continuously. (2) the activity for basic way of life, should have the monks for the Buddhism subject, should set the activity to teachers and students continuously according to Buddhism principle through body, speech, and the mind for good model. The executives and teachers should cooperate to have the training to students to have the responsibility and consciousness of their duties and co-advise among home, temple and school for creating the activity perfectly and practicable to support the students to practice continuously. (3) the learning, should co-train and develop the staff to have the knowledge and the understand more, should have the activity schedule for Buddhist way in advance that no impact on learning, should create the understanding with students for apply the Dhamma to use in daily life and it was not important that it was at temple or school to set up the curriculum or training projects of all study groups to have the integration the Bhddhadhamma with other subjects. (4) the atmosphere and the public relation, should improve the area in the school and create the atmosphere according Buddhist way, should support to have behave with each other correctly by Buddhist way, should request the guardians of students to have the co-operations by having the training about Buddhist way to understand correctly, should support the staff to realize the importance to create the atmosphere according Buddhist way.
