This study used Husserlian<sup>,</sup>s phenomenological approach. Twelve key informants were nursing students who had obesity and had self-management experienced of obesity, Age between 18-25 years old. Individual in-depth interview was used to collect the data. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s approach. Trustworthiness was established following Lincoln and Guba’s criteria. The findings revealed the self-management experiences of obesity nursing students composed of 3 themes: 1) Self-management for daily life, activity daily life routine and continuous such as diet control, exercise and time management 2) Self-management for psychological problems, goal setting to manage obesity into change perspective for self-acceptance and self-confidence such as attendance goal, change of view and strengthen the mind 3) Factors promoting self-management, that supports the successful of self-management such as body image, healthy, Self-regulation, social media and appropriate outcomes. The findings could enable nurses and the healthcare team to understand better self-management experiences of obesity nursing students and it could be provided as a basic information to assist and encourage nursing students to holistic nursing care for health promotion and prevention. It could be using information to development the appropriate self-management programs for nursing students and who had obesity.</p> ER -
