The sample of this study was 20 students studying in the first year diploma level of the 2019 academic year at Thonburi Business Administration Technological College and they enrolled in Developing Skills for English Communication 2. The samples were selected by purposive sampling and the One Group Pretest<strong> – </strong>Posttest Design was used in this study. The length of the experiment was 21 hours. The instruments used in this study were lesson plans, test, rating scale form for English listening<strong> – </strong>speaking abilities and the attitude towards English learning questionnaires. The data was statistically analyzed by t<strong> – </strong>test for dependent samples.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>The result of this research revealed that: </strong>1) English listening<strong> – </strong>speaking abilities of the first year diploma students at Thonburi Business Administration Technological College using the Genre Based Approach (News Report Genre Features) after the experiment was significantly higher than before the experiment at the .01 level. 2) Attitude toward learning English the first year diploma students at Thonburi Business Administration Technological College using the Genre Based Approach (News Report Genre Features) after&nbsp; the experiment was significantly higher than before the experiment at the .01 level.</p> ER -
