It is a quasi-experimental research. To study the effect of using elastic bandage on pain relief, early ambulation, satisfaction with the use of elastic bandage and the amount of medication used after surgery. The sample used was 60 Patients underwent gynecological surgery. The tool used in research consisted of bandage, personal data questionnaire, pain level record form and pain medication use, Record of time the patient can early ambulation and satisfaction questionnaire on the use of elastic bandage. Get confidence value .72. The statistical data was analyzed using frequency, Percentage, mean, standard deviation and independent t-test. The results showed that Patients after gynecological surgery using elastic bandages the pain level was lower than the group did not use the bandage to support the wound, was able to get early ambulation faster and need of medication for pain relieve less than those who did not use the bandage, Statistically Significant at the level (P<.01). There was a high level of satisfaction with the use of elastic bandages for wound support overall and each item.
