The sample consisted of 20 students of prathomsuksa 4 at BanKudtakab school, Waritchaphum, Sakon Nakhon, in the first semester of the academic year 2020. They were selected using cluster random sampling and one group pretest posttest design. The research instruments were mathematics lesson plans, a mathematical problem solving ability test and group working behavior observation. The data were atatistically analyzed examining percentages, mean and standard deviations. The dependent sample t - test and the one sample t - test were used for hypothesis testing. The findings of this research were as follows: before and after learning by Team Assisted individualization Cooperative learning supplemented with Cartoon exercise emphasize STAR strategy showed that the pretest mean score was 9.55 or 31.83 percent and the posttest mean score was 25.15 or 83.83 percent which was not less than 75 percent and was higher than that of the prestest. The students’ mathematics problem solving abilities that posttest mean score was 33.75 or 84.38 which was not less than 75 percent.
