The purposes were to study the level of the practical and the expected conditions of the teachers ’teaching performance and analyze the needs of teachers’ teaching performance of teachers under a private Islamic school who graduated from the Professional Teacher Certification Program (PTCP), and to study guidelines for the development of efficient teaching for the teaching PTCP. The research was divided into two phases. The first phase was the quantitative research for needs’ analysis. The sample group in the first phase was 233 people of the teachers under private Islamic school who graduated from the PTCP in six institutions for the past eight years in Yala Province. A questionnaire for practical conditions in the first part was used as an instrument with the reliability of .986. In the second part, a questionnaire for expected conditions was used as an instrument with the reliability of .983. The data were analyzed by means of arithmetic, standard deviation and Modified priority needs index (PNI modified) and the index values of needs’ priority. The second phase was the qualitative research using focus group method as twice. The key informants were the group of each 12 teachers and school managers or the director of private Islamic school in Yala Province. <strong> </strong>Research indicated the following results: 1) The study of teachers under a private Islamic school who graduated from the PTCP revealed that the practical condition of teaching efficiency, and 2) The expected condition of teaching efficiency in overall at a high level. 3) there was the need for teaching efficiency in the use of only teaching materials aspect for teachers. 4) Guidelines for developing the efficiency of teaching and learning management in the teaching PTCP are: to increase knowledge, psychological skills, education and guidance and learning creativity, techniques for creating a positive classroom environment, developing learning resources, and curriculum analysis skills.</p>}, number={2}, journal={Journal of MCU Nakhondhat}, author={Kerdtip, Chawalit and Nitjvarunkul, Kanita and Jehheng, Fathiyah and Keawkapthong, Wonyamelah}, year={2021}, month={Feb.}, pages={269–285} }
