Data were collected from Thai comic: Khai Hua Ror and Ha Ja Kreng. The results of the study showed that there were 3 types of ambiguity in Thai comics: lexical, grammatical and compositional ambiguity which could be subdivided into 17 sub-categories. Moreover the kinds of ambiguity that make people have most sense of humor are Polysemy (denotation and denotation) and Referential ambiguity (situation).</p> ER -
