In analyzing the data obtained in this connection, the researcher applied the method of multiple regression analysis and the ordinary least squares (OLS) technique.

Findings are as follows:

Variables affecting the expansion of the Bangkok Bank network of branches at the statistically significant reliability level of 99 percent were Bangkok Bank assets and the quantity of deposits at each branch. Furthermore, the gross domestic product (GDP) was found to be directly correlated at the statistically significant reliability level of 90 percent.

On the basis of analysis, the researcher concluded that the expansion of the Bangkok Bank branch network primarily involves taking into consideration projected branch operational costs. If the financial status of Bangkok Bank remains stable, branch expansion will affect the quantity of assets such that increases in the quantity of assets will increase in tandem with the quantity of deposits which is considered the cost of capital. This is the main objective in conducting a bank business in making profits. If the quantity of deposit increases, it will affect investment opportunities. However, Bangkok Bank has to consider the overall economy and the trend of economic expansion of the country as a major concern.

}, number={3}, journal={Trends of Humanities and Social Sciences Research}, author={ศวีรภานันท์ ณัฐธยาน์}, year={2013}, month={Nov.}, pages={46–53} }
